Town & Village Hotels

Town & Village Hotels is a group of independently managed, unbranded, heritage hotels and inns, ranging in size up to 36 bedrooms, all with growth potential and targeting business, family, and tourist clientele.

The division has three hotels in North Yorkshire and one in Cheshire, and aims to grow organically as suitable acquisition opportunities become available that fit the culture of the organisation.

George Hotel, Piercebridge, nr Darlington

Beautifully situated on the banks of the River Tees, and with a delightful riverside garden, this 16th century coaching inn has recently undergone ovation to all areas including its restaurant overlooking the river, its splendid ballroom, function room, and 36 bedrooms, many with river views.

Bridge House Hotel, Catterick Bridge, nr Richmond

Set in attractive gardens on the banks of the River Swale, the hotel dates from the 15th century and is said to be the oldest coaching inn on the original route of the A1. Now benefiting from a continuous programme of investment, it provides a riverside restaurant, ballroom and conference facilities together with 15 bedrooms.

Lion & Swan, Congleton, Cheshire

This 16th century coaching inn, in the attractive market town of Congleton, has just undergone a £1 million refurbishment to upgrade its two large function rooms, restaurant, bars, and 21 bedrooms. It caters for conferences and banquets, and is licensed for civil weddings.
